Asked at the gate
What are Zoologee stuffed animals filled with?
Fibre spun from recycled water bottles. Our Earth Keeperz collection is made from it entirely, and it is used across a growing share of the rest of the plush range — around fifteen million bottles a year.
Is Zoologee the same company as The Petting Zoo?
Yes. We traded as The Petting Zoo from 1984 and became Zoologee in 2025. Same studio, same designers, same animals — a new name on the swing tag.
Which plush toys are safe for a baby?
Anything from our baby shelf. Those animals have embroidered eyes and noses rather than fitted ones, doubled stress seams and a light fill weight. Always follow the age guidance on the tag.
How do I wash a stuffed animal without ruining it?
Surface wash with a damp cloth and mild soap, then brush the pile as it dries. A full soak flattens the fur on any plush animal and takes a day to dry; the tumble dryer melts the pile permanently.
What is the difference between Wild Onez and Puffimalz?
Wild Onez are modelled on the real species, markings and all, for children who want the animal to be right. Puffimalz are round, pillow-soft and built to be squashed. Many species exist in both.
Who do I contact about an order that has not arrived?
The store you bought from. Their order page holds the tracking, the refund button and the replacement request. We design the animals but we never see the order.
Where can I see Zoologee plush in person?
Zoos, aquariums, museums, national park concessions and independent gift shops across the country carry the collection. Stock varies by site, so call ahead if you are after a particular animal.
Do you restock seasonal animals?
Rarely. Holiday and seasonal plush is made in a single run for the year. When a run is gone it is usually gone, and the following season's animal will be a new design.
